We had the Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara and another of the same but gluten-free, plus a Supplì and three perfectly mixed Campari Sodas. The Campari Sodas hit just the right balance. The pasta sauces taste exactly like in Rome — rich, balanced, and made with real Guanciale.
The gluten-free Carbonara was just as good as the regular one — no compromises. The Supplì was tasty, though we’ve had better ones in Rome and its surroundings — but for Berlin? Definitely a solid level. All in all this is Roman cuisine done properly: simple ingredients, real flavors.
